“- Why can’t nice guys be more like you?

– Then they’d be… bad.”

Solange Dimitrios (Caterina Murino) and James Bond (Daniel Craig)

On the trail of the sender of the mysterious message sent to a Madagascar bomber, James Bond goes to the Ocean Club in the Bahamas.

On the spot, he learns the identity of the sponsor, Alex Dimitrios (Simon Abkarian). After a crushing defeat at cards in a game in which James Bond wins his magnificent Aston Martin DB5, Dimitrios disappears.

James Bond takes the opportunity to seduce his wife, Solange. He learns that Dimitrios will fly to Miami that very night.

After a quick trip to Miami, James Bond returns to the hotel, summoned by M (Judi Dench), where he discovers the corpse of Solange, tortured and killed for having given information to 007.

If Simon Abkarian got the role of Alex Dimitrios, another French actor had also auditioned. Michaël Youn indeed revealed that he had auditioned to play the criminal in this opus.

This is not the first time James Bond has visited Paradise Island. The first time was in Thunderball on Paradise Beach.
