National Circus School
Camille (Céleste Brunnquell) studies circus arts at the National Circus School of Châtellerault. After her family discovers a new and unusual religious parish, Camille feels lost. During an exercise, her teacher (Matthias Girbig) explains to Camille that she must put herself into her art. Afterwards, she shows her act to the parish, which forces her to stop the circus and forbids her to return to school.
Sarah Suco was inspired by her own story as she and her family lived in a charismatic community for several years until she was eighteen.
Céleste Brunnquell was nominated for the César of the best female hopeful at the 2020 ceremony for her role as Camille in the film.
