For Tom Cruise, Top Gun: Maverick could only be made on two conditions: that Val Kilmer be part of the cast and that he and the other actors actually ride in jets. Nevertheless, if Tom Cruise is indeed capable of flying aircraft since he has a pilot’s license, the production immediately refuses to let him climb alone in the cockpit of an F-18. The Army itself refuses to put a star, no matter how talented, in charge of a $70 million machine.
Thus, Tom Cruise takes the place of a specialist of the United States Army, like Miles Teller and the other actors, when the scenario involves these famous F-18. Maneuvering over the waters of Rimrock Lake is particularly perilous. However, all the members of the cast are present. Having undergone several months of training, the actors are ready.
On his side, Tom Cruise, used to do his own stunts, as risky as they are, puts things into perspective. He came back on his role in the columns of the site jxxspzd: “Listen, the whole point of making films and the beauty of it is that you get to travel the world and see other cultures and be part of communities. To look and walk in someone else’s shoes and feel what they are [feeling]. Making movies, you’re constantly learning; you have to constantly work to become more and more competent in many different fields. And I want to tell them, that’s the beauty of making movies. That’s why I’ve always pushed my films to go international, around the world and in different communities. And to be part of that right from the beginning. It was my dream. You’ve got to work. You got to work. It’s not a bunch of parties and doing that, and that’s what I love. And then they get to enjoy this evening.“

Rimrock Lake
Located on the course of the Tieton River in the middle of the mountains, Rimrock Lake is one of the most beautiful lakes in Washington State.
Operated as part of the Yakima Irrigation Project, this lake is controlled by the Tieton Dam, a 97-meter high construction dating from 1925. Near the townships of Rimrock and Silver Beach, the lake sits in the middle of Yakima County. . The Yakima River, for its part, has its source in the Cascade Range. It was visited by explorers Lewis and Clark on October 17, 1805.
