“- We’re going to kick your ass.

No, I’m just going to break the hands of three drunk kids.

There are four of us.

There’s one who has to drive the others to the hospital.”

Jack Reacher (Alan Ritchson)

Former U.S. Military Police Major, war hero and outstanding investigator, Jack Reacher (Alan Richtson) is not one to take it lying down. When you go after him, you have to be prepared to pay the consequences. A characteristic that the Reacher series exploits brilliantly throughout the eight episodes of its first season, putting the hero in inextricable situations where only his deadly skills allow him to escape. This is notably the case when four individuals attack him in front of the Margrave Motel.

Mainly shot in a closed environment, in a huge open-air studio located in the vicinity of Toronto, the Reacher show nevertheless used real locations during season 1. Places like the Stratford Suburban Motel. Margrave, a fictional town invented by writer Lee Child, consists of an on-screen montage of contrived locations and places in Canada’s Ontario province. And if no sequence was shot inside the motel in question, its parking lot hosts one of the most memorable fights of this first salvo of episodes.
