Back from the dead, James Bond (Daniel Craig) is brought to the new MI6 HQ to undergo a battery of tests in order to return to active duty.
With MI6 compromised by a terrorist attack, these underground tunnels are home to the new offices of British intelligence officers.
Tanner (Rory Kinnear) explains that this is the old bunker used by Winston Churchill in World War II. Located across the river from the Thames, in the heart of London’s tax centre, the Churchill War Rooms can be visited but were not used as a set for the film.
From 2008 to 2010, the development of the Skyfall project was suspended due to MGM’s financial problems. Saved from bankruptcy in December 2010, the company was able to resume production.
House of Vans London
Located near the Banksy tunnel, the House of Vans is part of an underground gallery underneath Waterloo station.
Unused space of more than 3.000m2, the underground of the Waterloo station has found a sensational use. House of Vans has taken over the place to make it a real cultural city.
Skatepark, bowling, restaurant, bars, giant screen, concert hall, everything is there. And it’s all free.
