Lunt-Fontanne Theatre
For the holiday season of 2024, Clint (Jeremy Renner) decides to take his children to the Big Apple to see Rogers: The Musical at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre. The musical recounts the life of Steve Rogers aka Captain America, including the famous “Battle of New York”.
This show reminds him of the sacrifice of Natasha Romanoff for which he could do nothing. Being unhappy with the play, notifying his daughter that Ant-Man wasn’t even present during the real battle, he decides to leave. His children soon join him.
The idea of the musical as a reason for Clint to be in New York was a simple suggestion by director Rhys Thomas. Kevin Feige, the president of Marvel Studios, loved the idea and decided to meet with Marc Shaiman, a Broadway composer who happily agreed to write an opening song.
2024 is the year in which the events of Hawkeye take place. This two-year gap with our temporality is due to the eclipse of Thanos.

The Lunt-Fontanne Theatre, formerly known as the Globe Theatre, is a Broadway theater located in downtown Manhattan in New York City.
The theater was inaugurated on January 10, 1910 under the name of Globe Theatre in honor of the Shakespearian Globe Theatre of London. The musical The Old Town was the first show performed in the theatre.
In the 30s, the theater was transformed into a movie theater. In 1957, after its purchase, the theatre was renovated and renamed to its current name: Lunt-Fontanne Theatre.
