For the episode Une retraite paisible de Hitchcock by Mocky, Jean-Pierre Mocky was offered the possibility to film in the town hall of Loudun. An honor for both sides. In addition to the famous director, the town hall was visited by Bernard Ménez, the star with Agnès Soral of this episode.
A real spotlight on the region, Myster Mocky présente received the support of Maine-et-Loire, Indre-et-Loire and Vienne for the shooting of these episodes.
This is the second time that Bernard Ménez has filmed in the Vienne. The actor had already visited the lake of Moncontour with Pascal Thomas in Pleure pas la bouche pleine.

Located on a hill overlooking part of the region, Loudun was a strategic observation and defense post at the gateway to the former Poitou-Charentes.
