House of Spitz
The Banyan House hosted several scenes from Murder Mystery 2. It is indeed here that the characters played by Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler are housed before their departure for Paris. While the decorators did not have to change much within the Banyan House itself, a few details were added. In the film, the actor highlights the fact that the room has a retractable ceiling. In reality, nothing like that at Banyan House. The view also justified the use of digital effects.
A famous house
Already used in the filming of the Magnum PI series, the Banyan House is a true celebrity in Honolulu, Hawaii. Widely highlighted in Murder Mystery 2, it is also the setting of a particularly funny sequence, in which almost all the actors of the cast are present. The starting point of the new investigation of the Spitz couple.
A well-established duo
Adam Sandler is used to working with the same people. If Murder Mystery 2 allows him to be directed for the first time by Jeremy Garelick, he finds Jennifer Aniston with whom he of course shot the first part, but also, a few years earlier, the comedy Just Go with It. A duo that will once again plunge into a colorful adventure around the world.
The shooting of Murder Mystery 2 lasted barely more than 3 months.
