House of Christophe Tochard
In search of a house that could match the idea of a doctor’s home, Blandine Lenoir’s team set its sights on this beautiful building in downtown La Rochelle.
Concerning the genesis of the film, Blandine Lenoir told the Senior Actu website at the time of the theatrical release: “As is often the case, the subject was born out of personal experience. I was approaching my 40s with anxiety without understanding why I was so afraid of getting older while my male friends did not share this concern. I quickly realized that women in their fifties were not represented at all in film. How can you want to reach an age that is not represented? I saw many of my friends around me arrive there in a terrible loneliness in love; formidable, beautiful, gifted women, whose exes had remade their lives. I wanted to pay tribute to them, to give them – and myself – the desire to grow old. Aurore is also a way to cure my own anxieties. “
This is the second time after Zouzou that Blandine Lenoir is filming in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region.

Beautiful semi-detached house in the beautiful neighborhoods of La Rochelle, this house is located on the edge of downtown.
North of the Avenue du Général Leclerc, in a peaceful neighborhood, this house has a small garden and is composed of a first floor and a first floor. Ideally located, a few blocks from the Old Port and its monuments, it is also close to Charruyer Park.
