Having crossed the channel to attend the funeral of her ex-lover on the island of Ré, Helen (Joan Collins) and Priscilla (Pauline Collins) travel as best they can, without money, to the island. On the way, they will meet Alberto (Franco Nero) who helps them by dropping them off at the hotel Les Sables de Ré. In reality, the two women are staying in the guest house Le Corps de Garde, instead of the hotel establishment.
Joan Collins, Pauline Collins and Franco Nero were announced on the film as of February 6, 2014. The shooting of the film signed Roger Goldby began in France during July 2016.
The Time of Their Lives earned $1,125,526 at the worldwide box office.
Le Corps De Garde
Le Corps de Garde is an upscale guesthouse in an old 17th century mansion located at the entrance to the port of Saint-Martin-de-Ré.
