I spent a lot of time trying to find the right place,” recalled Jonah Coombes in the columns of the site It was imperative to find a place where we could film stunts.“This place, the Battleship Building, has a very unique architecture. Its swirling stairwell being particularly exploited for the needs of this scene being among the most spectacular of Morbius.

Produced by Sony Studios, in collaboration with Marvel, Morbius is part of the same universe as Venom and its sequel. One of the objectives of this movie is to bring together on screen the famous Sinister Six, the legendary team of super-villains opposed to Spider-Man. The release of Morbius, which was repeatedly postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic, was a success in its first few weeks of release, despite mixed reviews.


Morbius took 12 weeks to shoot and took place in Manchester, London and Atlanta.
