Fezco Grocery Store

TV show Euphoria (2019)
Fezco O'Neill (Angus Cloud), Rue Bennett's (Zendaya) drug dealer, runs a small suburban business to disguise his illicit activity. Fezco's grocery store is a recurring theme throughout the history of Euphoria. The theater of strong sequences carried by characters on the edge of their skin.

She hated her life. Not because it was bad, but because when you hate your brain and body, it’s hard to enjoy the rest.

Ruby “Rue” Bennett (Zendaya)

Fezco O’Neil (Angus Cloud) is not a member of the East Highland High School student body. Raised in violence by one of the city’s most powerful organized crime figures, he now runs a drug business with his adopted younger brother, whom he taught everything. Fezco’s small grocery store serves as a cover for him to stay off the radar of the authorities but also to launder money.

While scouting around Los Angeles, theEuphoria team decided to visit the Alta Dena Dairy drive-thru. No changes were necessary as the place already reflected everything the producers wanted. A slightly old business, dilapidated just enough and ideally located, not far from the studios where the interior sets were installed. Closed since the beginning of the production, the Alta Dena Dairy has become a place of shooting, leaving all the necessary amplitude to the directors of the series. It is also a fan favorite. A place where it is easy to immerse yourself in the special atmosphere of this cult series.

Season 1 of Euphoria won six awards, three of which went to Zendaya.

Alta Dena Dairy

Now closed, Alta Dena Dairy was a grocery store with a drive-through located in Temple City in the eastern suburbs of Los Angeles.

Once offering drinks, snacks and other items, Alta Dena Dairy allowed drivers to shop without getting out of their cars. Now closed, it is used only for the production of the Euphoria series. With a population of 36,494, Temple City is known in California for its Camellia Festival, the symbol of the city. This event takes place every year in February and consists of a big parade on Las Tunas Drive. One of its most famous residents is David Kelin, the founder of the famous Jelly Belly candy brand.
