Esplanade François Mitterrand
Charles (Noom Diawara) finally got a role, he plays Jesus in the play Jesus of Nazareth . The little troupe of actors performs for the first time in Châtellerault in the Blossac theater. But a big problem arises: demonstrations break out in front of the theater. These Catholic protesters are outraged that a black actor is playing Jesus.
Originally, the lake in the forest of Châtellerault was also to be used as the setting for the scene of the balloon flight, the gift of the Verneuil family’s emerald wedding. Unfortunately a terrible road accident occurred near Pouant on the D65. It cost the lives of three technicians. The filming was then interrupted for a month. The film is dedicated to the three victims.
The first two films Serial (Bad) Weddings have accumulated 19,064,799 admissions in French theaters. Two successful comedies.
