“I’ve been told that this is the best winery in Cognac. Would you like a drink?”

Yassine (Olivier Sitruck)

Julius (Jean-Yves Lafesse) runs the bar Chez Julius in the heart of Cognac. After investigating her, Yassine (Olivier Sitruck) knows that this is one of Clementine’s (Éléonore Bernheim) favorite bars. He is already there when she goes there.

Meurtres à Cognac is Jean-Yves Lafesse’s last appearance on television. The actor died in July 2021.

For the director of the production, Emmanuel Eli, shooting in Cognac was important. “The aim is to show Cognac, the banks of the Charente, the city center. We won’t go more than thirty kilometers away”, he told Sud Ouest.
