Castle of Saint-Maigrin
The famous genealogist Margot Laurent (Vanessa David) is a consultant for the national police. She helps with investigations by going back into the victims’ past. This is the case of Agnes Lusignan (Marie Barraud) who is found murdered in a secret room of the family castle. Margot decides to investigate the family’s past and discovers that the family is not innocent in the case.
Jérôme Navarro, the director, knew nothing about genealogy before being contacted. Being the main subject of the series, the director met with probate genealogists to better master the subject before the shooting of season 1.
The episode The castle of secrets gathered 2.544 million viewers during its first broadcast on France 3.
