“- I need you to work with me.

– To launder your money?”

Del (Morales Essay) versus Marty (Jason Bateman)

In a ten-year flashback, a Mexican cartel lieutenant, Del (Esai Morales), asks Marty (Jason Bateman) and Bruce (Josh Randall) to become their financial advisors. To do this, he invites the two men and Wendy (Laura Linney) to his home to get to know each other better. After several exchanges and the death before his eyes of the former advisor, Marty and Bruce officially launder the cartel’s money.

This illicit activity has a very important place in the series. In order to properly understand how it works, the scriptwriters call on the FBI. An agent went to the location for a full day to explain the ins and outs of money laundering.
