Enjoying the friendly atmosphere of the Café Chaud, one of the most popular establishments in downtown Angoulême, Benoît (Jean-Paul Rouve) relaxes. At first, the production team’s schedule did not include shooting in this bar at all. It is when he discovers the atmosphere of the place, during an evening, that the actor/director Jean-Paul Rouve decides to make a departure from his schedule. The filmmaker puts his cameras in the café and hires the owner and some of the customers in one go. Delighted, the latter find themselves in the credits of this popular comedy.
Very happy to have discovered the Café Chaud and its charming clientele, Jean-Paul Rouve did not fail to thank the owner of the bar. The latter also said that the director had told him that the scene of the Café Chaud had become his favorite. A sort of enchanted parenthesis that gave Lola & her brothers an even more authentic side. Galvanized by the good mood of the inhabitants of Angoulême, José Garcia, Jean-Paul Rouve, Ludivine Sagnier and the other actors of the film did not fail to feed on this enthusiasm, without forgetting to be grateful.

Richly decorated, the Café is located near the church Saint-André of Angoulême. One of the most popular establishments in the neighborhood, south of the Boulevard Pasteur. Comfortable, cosy and original, the coffee gives pride of place to cocktails and music. It is not rare that the owner himself sings a song, encouraging his customers to imitate him.
