“What a wonderful day to become a knight.”

Gustav Graves (Toby Stephens)

In the process of being knighted by the Queen, businessman Gustav Graves (Toby Stephens) makes a grand arrival, parachuted in from an airplane with a canvas in the colours of the Union Jack.

On the spot, many journalists are waiting for the man, with many questions about his success.

After a quick appearance, Gustav and Miranda Frost (Rosamund Pike) leave, watched by 007 (Pierce Brosnan).

2012

During the 2012 Olympics, James Bond (Daniel Craig) performs a similar stunt with Queen Elizabeth II. The video caused a stir among the British, who are not used to seeing their queen staged in this way.
