Marylou (Jeanne Lambert)
A former painter, Taillandier (Patrick Chesnais) gradually finds inspiration again thanks to Marylou (Jeanne Lambert). They regularly visit the beach of Gautrelle in Saint-Georges-d’Oléron. As Marylou takes the plunge, Tallandier does the same in his own way by drawing the young girl.
For the role of Marylou, the casting director Sylvia Allegre remembered a young actress she had auditioned during the previous casting of Jean Becker’s film: La Tête en friche. Jean Becker recalls the audition of Jeanne Lambert: “In this little girl, I felt an instinct. This is a girl who, despite a deceptive image of superficiality, can really be deep.”

The beach of Gautrelle in Saint-Georges-d’Oléron is one of the most beautiful beaches of the island of Oléron.
With its view towards Fort Boyard and the island of Aix, the location of the Gautrelle beach between the island and the mainland allows it to be relatively calm. With its fine sand and rocks nearby, it is a favorite beach for families.
