Baekwoon Market in Ssangmun-dong
Cho Sang-Woo’s mother’s (Park Hae-soo) seafood shop is located in Baekwoon Market in Ssangmun-dong, and Seong (Lee Jung-jae) regularly shops for his evening meal.
Having won some money from a mysterious man on the subway, Seong decides to be generous to Cho’s mother by leaving her the change. At the same time, he asks about his son. His mother explains that he has become a rich businessman and that he has succeeded in everything.
Ssangmun-dong is present in many episodes because it is Seong and Cho’s childhood neighborhood. But it is also Jank Deok-su’s (O Yeong-su). Indeed, Ssangmum-dong is the district represented in episode 6 “Gganbu”. N°1 explains that it is a representation of the one from his childhood.
That’s the approximate amount of money the series has earned for Netflix. At the same time, it became the most viewed series on the platform with 132 million viewers.
