After making a mess of Elliot Carver’s (Jonathan Pryce) meeting, James Bond (Pierce Brosnan) goes to his hotel, the Atlantic Hotel.
Paris Carver (Teri Hatcher) will later join him, rekindling the flame of their old romance. But this brief romance will be Paris’ last, murdered by Dr. Kaufman, a hitman hired by the media mogul.
As James Bond is about to meet the same fate, Agent 007 manages to turn the tables and flees the hotel under the furious gaze of Mr. Stamper (Götz Otto).
If the famous car chase in the parking lot with the BMW seems to take place very close to the hotel, it is not so in reality. The car park is a shopping centre in London, the roof is the Saturn car park in Hamburg and the street on which the BMW ends up is Mönckebergstrasse, 1.5 kilometres from the establishment.
The budget for Tomorrow Never Dies was $110 million.
