“Wait a minute. … Watch the ledge. … we’ll get those eyes fixed. Don’t even worry about it. Let me talk to you. Hey, hey!”

James Edwards (Will Smith) to the alien

Before he was an MIB agent, James Edwards was a New York City police officer. He’s chasing a particularly agile criminal through the city streets.

The suspect then fled to the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum and made his way to the roof of the institution. James enters and goes up to apprehend the individual.

Just when he thinks he’s got him cornered, the police officer seems surprised. The man in front of him threatens him with a much more powerful enemy preparing to destroy the world, stares at him with strange eyes and hurries to throw himself off the roof.

This event will be a founding event in the recruitment of Agent J into the ranks of the MIB.

Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum

Surprising and troubling, the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum has remarkable collections, as much as its showcase…

Conceived by the immense architect Frank Lloyd Wright, who died before the inauguration in 1959, this museum offers visitors a new way of getting around; first you take the elevator, then you go down the spiral structure.

Stop on the third level to take a break at Cafe 3 and enjoy the view of Central Park.
