Aulnay-sous-Bois : the Robert-Ballanger hospital takes care of its appearances in many filming sessions.
Who said disused buildings were useless? Certainly not the management of the Robert-Ballanger hospital in Aulnay-sous-Bois (93). Three former sectors, those of Femme-Enfant, stomatology and the early medical-social action centre, now serve as filming locations.
Films and TV movies to start with, the offer has been extended to TV series and commercials. These locations are so popular that every month, the hospital management receives many requests for permission to film within its precincts. They also hosted one of the flagship series on French television: Engrenages.
More recently, it was the latest Canal+ series, Hippocrate, directed by Thomas Lilti, that installed these cameras in the hospital centre. The series was adapted by the same director as the eponymous film for Channel 4. Although the feature film was shot in several locations such as the Raymond-Poincaré hospital in Garches, the series established its headquarters in Aulnay-sous-Bois. Louise Bourgoin, Alice Belaïdi and Karim Leklou will be in the cast of this new series, which we hope will not give you “the blouse”.
