Villebois-Lavalette is a commune located in the Charente department, 21 km south of Angoulême.

Villebois-Lavalette is a small village in the Charente region of France with 717 inhabitants in 2019. It has its roots in antiquity since it would have been in Roman times a villa that linked Périgueux to Saintes. With the ages, the city developed with the construction of a castle in the 12th and 13th centuries.
