A tribute to Hunedoara Castle, the castle that inspired Dracula, located in Transylvania, Vajdahunyad Castle was built in 1896 as part of the Millennium Exhibition celebrating 1,000 years of Hungary. It was designed by Ignác Alpár who reproduced several copies of emblematic buildings of the Kingdom of Hungary.
Today it houses the Hungarian Agricultural Museum, the largest agricultural museum in Europe.
