Address The Stone Pony 913 Ocean Ave N, Asbury Park, NJ 07712, USA

More than just a bar, The Stone Pony has provided a launching pad for many New Jersey bands and artists.

If The Stone Pony is intimately linked to Bruce Springsteen, he is not the only one to have benefited from the influence and aura of this former restaurant based on the Asbury Park boardwalk. Jon Bon Jovi for example, has more than once walked this legendary scene, as have other big names like Southside Johnny.

Opened in 1973, The Stone Pony continues to play its role today, despite a history of problems that have jeopardized its survival. Fully involved in the life of the community, it hosts the Asbury Park Music Awards ceremony.
