Address St George's Hall Liverpool St George's Pl, Liverpool L1 1JJ, UK

The St. George’s Hall, a neo-classical theater, was built in 1854 in downtown Liverpool.

Listed as a Grade I building, St. George’s Hall faces Lime Street Station. Designed by architect Harvey Lonsdale Elmes, it is an integral part of the Liverppol merchant port areas that UNESCO has designated as World Heritage. Immediately recognizable by its imposing columns, it also features numerous carved friezes on its façade. Its interior is also remarkable, with exceptional stained glass windows and ornamentation. Statues of William Roscoe, Edward Robert, George Stephenson, Joseph Mayer and Kitty Wilkinson are displayed in the Great Hall.
