Considered one of the most luxurious hotels in the world, the Hotel Ritz Paris is located in the 1st arrondissement of Paris.

Inaugurated in 1898, the Hotel Ritz Paris was born from the will of the Swiss hotel owner César Ritz and Auguste Escoffier, the famous chef-restaurateur.

From the moment it opened, the establishment was equipped with all the comforts of the time: water and electricity on all floors, elevators, bathroom and telephone in all rooms.

The Ritz Paris hotel was listed as a historical monument in 1930. Many personalities are welcomed within its walls: Colette, Marcel Proust, Jean Cocteau, Ernest Hemingway, Coco Chanel, Charlie Chaplin…

During the German occupation of the Second World War, part of the hotel was requisitioned. Herman Göring settles in particular in the imperial suite.

Today, the Ritz Paris has 142 rooms including 56 suites and 15 prestige suites.
