Originally a simple paper mill in 1634, the Moulin de la Couronne is a former paper production plant. Noted for its paper quality at the industrial exhibition of 1844 and 1849, the Crown Mill has continued to grow with the construction of an owner’s residence in 1875 called “the castle”.
At the beginning of the 20th century, the workforce was 30 people, it is from 1969 that the production stops. Since 2009, all the buildings are classified as historical monuments and it is possible to visit the whole estate and its park since 2011.
