Fresco created in 1997 under the request of the city of Angoulême to the author of comics Yslaire, Mémoire du XXe ciel is one of the most famous and appreciated walls in the city. The title refers to Yslaire’s work on the myth of guardian angels.
It has the particularity of being perfectly embedded in the architecture of the city of Angoulême making the fresco fascinating:
