Named after William Quill, the first explorer to climb Sutherland Falls, this high-altitude lake is now accessible from McKinnon Pass on the Milford Trail. Often visited during helicopter tours, it also welcomes hikers. The latter having to walk for several days to hope to reach the shores of the lake.
