Opened in 1993 by the co-founders of Mazouing, a concert bar in Angoulême, the Nave has become a concert hall in its own right.

Installed in a former powder magazine dating from 1879, La Nef is a concert, recording and/or rehearsal venue located in Angoulême. With a capacity of 700 seats, La Nef has welcomed many artists and groups looking for a human-sized venue.

Enlarged in 2005, La Nef is now managed by the community of agglomerations of Greater Angoulême.
