Address John Lennons Kenwood Estate Kenwood, Weybridge KT13 0JU, UK

Located on the St George’s Hill estate in Surrey, Kenwood is a house famous for having belonged to the Beatle John Lennon.

In 1913, the architect TA Allen designed the sumptuous Tudor-style residence, then called The Brown House. A residence originally commissioned by Norman H. Johnson, a local businessman.

In 1964, John Lennon bought the house, then renamed Kenwood, and proceeded to multiple renovations. After his divorce from Cynthia Lennon, the Beatle put the house up for sale in 1968. Bill Martin, a songwriter, bought the house for the equivalent of £740,000.

Since then, the house has had a succession of owners, sometimes remaining for several years without real owners. And its fame is not an asset according to real estate agents.
