A Victorian park in South London, Crystal Palace Park is located on the site of a former exhibition hall once located in the heart of Hyde Park.

Opened in 1854, this 81-hectare green space contains several dinosaur sculptures as well as a bust of Sir Joseph Paxton and a statue of Guy the Gorilla by David Wynne. Over the years, the park has also been used for various sporting events. Many cricket and soccer matches have been played there. Today, it is a popular place for walkers.
