Address Cavern club Liverpool City Centre, Liverpool L2 6RR, UK

Made history by the Beatles, this Liverpool club was demolished in 1973 then rebuilt in 1982 to the delight of fans.

Inaugurated in 1957, the Cavern Club wasted no time in welcoming musicians from around Liverpool. It was here, on the tiny basement stage, that Brian Epstein first saw the Beatles on November 9, 1961. they too became famous like Lemmy Kilmister, the leader of Motörhead. In 1973, the Cavern Club was destroyed but it was reborn from its ashes in 1982. The reconstruction having used stones from the old building. It still hosts concerts and often pays tribute to its most famous residents.
