Address Brenoux Airport 48000 Mende, France

Founded in 1946 by Charles Samson and several of his friends, the airfield of Mende-Brenoux is the only one in the whole Lozere department.

If it welcomes many aviators, the airfield has a particularly important role in the territory. In summer, it is the base for a civil security helicopter. The aircraft is always ready to take off to assist victims of accidents in the region. Located at an altitude of 1,017 meters, it has two runways regularly used by airplanes, microlights and gliders.
