Address Blossac Park 1 BIS Rue Léopold-Thézard, 86000 Poitiers, France

Le parc de Blossac is one of the most important green areas of the city of Poitiers.

At the time, Paul Esprit Marie de La Bourdonnaye, Count of Blossac, was the king’s steward and had a park built in the center of Poitiers in 1770.

The 9-hectare park is bordered by part of the old city walls, including the Bird Tower, which is still visible today.

Visitors can stroll through the French garden, the English garden, the rock garden and the contemporary garden with its green theater.

Animals, games for children, sculptures, a kiosk and a bar complete the landscape of this place appreciated by the inhabitants of Poitiers.
