Black Park Country Park is a woodland of over 250 hectares managed by Buckinghamshire Council and partly designated as a Biological Site of Special Scientific Interest.

In addition to its function as England’s green lung, the Black Park Country Park was also used during the two world wars as a reserve of woodland, fields and airstrips.

The wilderness is also known for being the location of many film and TV shoots.
