Fayetteville Georgia’s Main Cemetery tells part of the city’s history. Used as part of the filming of the series Stranger Things, it also appears in the credits of the film Joyful Noise in which Dolly Parton teams up with Queen Latifah. The city was founded in 1822. It takes its name from the French Marquis de Lafayette, one of the heroes of the War of Independence. She entered the history of the seventh art when Pinewood Atlanta Studios was inaugurated in 2014.
