Built at the end of the 12th century, these Arab baths are among the most popular tourist attractions in Girona.
Built on the model of medieval Islamic baths, these baths consist of five rooms, namely the changing rooms, the cold room, the warm room, the hot room and the oven in which the boilers were placed. Closed during the 15th century, they were later made available to the Capuchin convent and used as kitchens. They have belonged to the city since 1928 and are open for visits. Their popularity has grown significantly since HBO shot a scene from Game of Thrones there.
