Address 8 Rue Jean-Jaurès 86000 Poitiers, France

At 8 rue Jean-Jaurès is one of the abbeys of the Benedictine order founded by Saint Radegonde.

Behind this building composed of housing and offices are the remains of the abbey church of the Holy Cross Abbey.

Today, in the same street, there are still some buildings that belonged to this congregation, the first female congregation in the Christian West: a main building transformed into apartments, the Holy Cross Museum built on the site of the abbey.
