282 Westbourne Park Road is famous mainly for the blue door seen in the movie Notting Hill.
This building was chosen by the producers of the film mainly because it was the personal home of Richard Curtis, the writer of Notting Hill.
When he left his home, the price of this residence went up to £1.3 million.
The blue door was auctioned off for charity. Initially replaced by a plain black door, it was repainted blue, much to the delight of fans and tourists.
