Today, the Castille cinema is jointly managed by the CGR group and the TAP (Poitiers’ national stage). It shows mainstream films as well as feature and medium-length art house films.
The Martineau brothers renovated the building in 1948. The coat of arms of Poitiers and Poitou can still be seen on the pediment.
