Address 23 Heddon St London W1B 4BQ, UK

If David Bowie has marked several places in London during his prolific career, it is at 23 Heddon St that fans come to pay tribute. Where the city has affixed one of its famous “Blue plaques”.

In 1972, 23 Heddon St was home to a furrier’s house. Right next door, is located the studio Ward’s Heddon Street where David Bowie and his band take the pose for promotional shots of their new album. Today, this alleyway located not far from Regent Street and Piccadilly Circus has changed a lot but the memory of David Bowie still lingers. Since then, the fur company has given way to offices.
