One of San Francisco’s newest buildings, 181 Fremont shines with its modernist architecture.
It was in 2013 that work began on 181. Planned for mixed use, the building ends up reaching 244.6 meters, including the antenna. With 56 floors, it cost a modest $500 million. Following the inauguration in early 2017, Facebook rushed to lease the entire portion dedicated to offices to move in.
The building also contains several apartments and a two-story outdoor terrace. The seventh floor has a direct connection to the rooftop park at Transit Salesforce. It is also the third tallest building in the city after the Transamerica Pyramid and Salesforce Tower.
