Address 150 N Los Angeles St Los Angeles, CA 90012, USA

150 N Los Angeles St was the headquarters of the Los Angeles Police Department from 1954 to 2009.

Originally named the Police Administration Building, the building was built in 1954 and nicknamed the Glass House.

When Police Chief William H. Parker died of a heart attack on July 16, 1966, the Los Angeles City Council decided to rename the building the Parker Center.

Demolished in 2019, the land will be home to an office tower taller than the old building. However, a remnant can be found at the Los Angeles Police Museum, the “Parker Center” sign that once stood at the entrance.
