Hogwarts corridors
Whether the floor is flooded by Moaning Myrtle, a troll breaks into the castle, a mysterious bloody inscription appears on the walls, or Harry overhears conversations, the halls of Hogwarts are often put to the test.
With its high ceilings, stained glass windows and characteristic floor, these corridors seem to come straight out of a fairy tale or at least a wonderful castle. In fact, Gloucester Cathedral lends its own corridors to Hogwarts. There is no need to modify anything, the place is in an exceptional state and delights the numerous fans who come to visit the place.
The Harry Potter “brand” is valued at over $24 billion.
Gloucester Cathedral
Gloucester Cathedral had a long construction period from 1089 to 1499.
Built on the site of a former monastery, Gloucester Cathedral is remarkable in many ways. Its breathtaking stained glass windows, long corridors and spectacular nave make it an exceptional place.
Loaded with history, the cathedral also plays the card of modernity. Hosting many film and TV shoots, it is also equipped with solar panels on its roof. This installation makes the cathedral the oldest place of worship in England equipped with this technology.
