Café Restaurant Louis Philippe (Gossip Girl, The Ninth Gate)
And while we’re in the realm of Gossip Girl, here’s a second stop to make in the 4th arrondissement. It’s in the café restaurant Louis Philippe that another Paris scene from Gossip Girl was shot. But, it’s also here that Johnny Deep filmed a scene from the movie The Ninth Gate.
L’appartement de l’inspecteur Clouseau (La Panthère rose)
If you happen to have committed a crime like stealing a big pink diamond, be sure not to pass by in front of 2 rue des Barres, or you might get caught by the famous inspector Clouseau! In the movie, The Pink Panther, Steve Martin decided to move in here after getting the promotion he’s been waiting his whole life for, which is actually nothing but a huge hoax…
L’étoile Manquante (Un Heureux évènement)
Not a better vantage point to observe the Marais quarter than this rather sober but efficient café, where one can write scenarios or novels. Maybe even it’s here that Remi Bezançon filmed a scene from his movie, Un Heureux évènement.

Our next stop is the Shoah Memorial (Mémorial de la Shoah) at 17 rue Geoffroy L’Asnier.
