New York : the must-see places of The Adjustment Bureau

As he thought of his fate, David Norris' life changed dramatically. This will lead him to chase a woman through the streets of the Big Apple, a discovery of its underground and its captivating surface.

Waldorf Astoria

This world renowned Art Deco luxury hotel is the theatre for the meeting between David Norris (Matt Damon) and Elise Sellas (Emily Blunt).  While he rehearses his concession speech, thinking he’s alone in the men’s room, the young woman betrays her presence. Their romantically-charged conversation will change things.

Brooklyn Bridge Park Pier 1

David makes a campaign speech on this jetty just at the foot of Brooklyn Bridge with a magnificent view over Manhattan. As we mention in our guide New York of 1000 cult movies, series, musics, comics and novels locations, don’t hesitate to wander around here and try an ice-cream at the Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory, briefly visible in the movie.

Madison Square Park

It’s in this park, situated at the bottom of his building (the Metropolitan Life Tower with its clock-topped tower at the angle of Madison and 23rdSt), that David spills his coffee and so misses his bus that Elise is in.  But nothing goes as planned.

Top Of The Rock

Hunted down by agents, David and Elise find themselves trapped at the Top of the Rock.

Statue of Liberty

Being pursued by Adjustment Bureau men, David and Elise arrive at the bottom of the statue through a travel door.  For you though, it’ll have to be the ferry and it takes a bit longer.

New York Public library

The famous New York library serves as the setting for the Adjustment Bureau.
